Well, it is coming up on my one year anniversary of me being on deviantart I just wanted to thank all those who have supported me by commenting, putting my art up as favorites and keeping me on their deviantwatch. And, of course, that would mean you! Thanks for everything

Thanks for the comment on [link] - I originally played with the idea of adjusting the levels, but then I realized it would ruin the primary appeal of the picture for me, which is that there's an incredible contrast between the smooth, dark water and the really, really bright white crests on it, which make interesting shapes.

I never thought of looking for a person in it. It just strikes me as a particularly 'artful' shot, in that sort of horrible Modern Art kind of way.
